Living with a CSF Leak: Looking after your mental wellbeing
*Please note that due to National Lottery Awards for All Scotland funding stipulations, this workshop is only available to patients resident in Scotland. We are currently working hard to get funding for patients in the rest of the UK.
Date: Monday 11th September 10.30am – 12pm
Facilitated by Stephanie Yin, one of www.rareminds.org specialist Counsellors, this small group (up to 15 members) interactive workshop is for patients living in Scotland who are impacted by a CSF Leak*.
Part presentation and part group discussion it will explore the emotional challenges of living with a CSF Leak, looking at themes such as building relationships with healthcare teams, anxiety and managing uncertainty, as well as some practical tools and ideas about coping as well as possible with a CSF Leak.
It will provide a supportive, confidential space to share experiences, meet with others and perhaps find new skills and coping strategies for living with the emotional impact of a CSF Leak.
