Sep 11

On Wednesday September 11, I will be attempting to run the length of Luxembourg with two friends (Cam and Harjot). The challenge will stretch over 3 days, and we will cover roughly 107 kilometres. Luckily, we will have thorough support throughout from two very kind young men - Jack and Kai.

In planning this, I saw an opportunity to raise money and awareness for a charity that is close to my heart. For those who are close to me or my mum, you’ll know that she was bed bound for 3 years due to a CSF leak. Luckily, my mother is a mentally resilient and brilliant person, so she is able to navigate this as well as she can. Although resolved by an operation in 2021, she has a new CSF leak or a CSF venous fistula, which is yet to be located. This requires many more complex scans and an operation on her spinal cord. The CSF Leak Association charity is crucial in raising awareness of this often misdiagnosed condition.

We are delighted that Jed is so supportive to both his Mum and the CSF Leak Association. If you can, please donate and give Jed, Cam and Harjot some words of encouragement for the road ahead on Wednesday 11th September!
